TUBA aims to be a hub for resources and change, so individuals and groups can seek support from us that they can then go use in their own communities.
How You Can Help
Our Mission Statement
Formed in Metro North Boston, MA in 2023, TUBA organizes for biodiversity using an urban ecology lens and a collaborative community organizing approach; through discussion, popular education, the arts, regenerative landscaping, citizen science and civic engagement, we work to create a narrative that will increase support for biodiversity, climate, leadership development and conservation on the local level. We are a network of students and learners and maintain a culture of skill-sharing.
We believe in cross pollination and use community partnerships to amplify and elevate biodiversity efforts with allies for more livable cities. We work hands on in MetroNorth Boston but also share individual and organizational allies across the U.S. and are also followed internationally through our working group on Facebook.
Featured Project
Microhabitats for Pollinators- TUBA has been accepted into a incubator program and we will create 10 microhabitats for pollinators in environmental justice communities in 2026. These pollinator gardens will be cared for by pollinator stewards who learn with the program as part of a community learning circle.
